Well went to swan tonight for some bass fishing and cat fishing man the bass fishing was hot caught tons of them and saw some really big ones cat fishing was slow one fish all night but i pulled my rod in early because i am retard and didn't buy my two pole permit and so tonight when a boat pulled up across the river and started watching use fish i didn't think to much of it at first come to find it was fish and game dressed as civilians in a unmarked jet boat with rods hanging out the back well i got ticket 72 bucks i was in the wrong i knew it they were cool and very nice said they have been stepping up patrol in that area and think that is great because i have seen people fill cooler full of dink bass down there before and tons of other things. i guess i just had to learn the hard way like most of the lessons i have learned in my life if your going to fish two pole buy permit

That happened to me last year at Swan! Thankfully I had my two pole permit. We were sturgeon fishing and they came by and said to be careful because F&G was out checking licenses. I laughed and gave him a thumbs up and said we were all good. About 5 minutes later they pulled up w/ their boat next to us and asked for licenses. Sneaky sneaky. haha They had me reel my rods up, checked for the drop line on the weight and barbless hooks.

We ended up having a really good conversation with them. Learned from them a few different places to fish and what not.

I appreciate their efforts down at Swan Falls. That place is a literal nightmare on the weekend, I don't even go there. So its nice to know that there's a consistent presence down there.
