So there is this pond in corinne. I know it has carp in it. We went tonight to try and catch one. We tired worms and bread. Couldn't catch a thing. I need some pointers.

Try flies. Wooly buggers, glo bugs, back stabbers, big prince or hares ear, san juan worms, and small grasshoppers/caddis are all $$$ on summer time carp.
