Wow, those things are crazy looking. What did you end up catching them on?

UV glow curly tales tipped with sucker meat! They are way weird looking and are really snake like but heard they cook up good! Gonna try that!

How many did you catch?

We are headed up there this coming weekend. My buddy Chris and I are looking to do our part in ridding the lake of a few more burbot. can you be a little more specific on what glow curley tails you were using? And how did the taste? I heard they are suppose to be real sweet like lobster meat.

Thanks

My son and I go to the bash each yr. and fish the burbs through the ice. Same bait and method and also use white tube jugs tipped with cut bait. My son came up with an ideal way of keeping track of your poles at night, six in the winter, by using a light stick. Hook the light stick to the line at the 2 or third eye, after letting the bait down to the desired depth, then lay the lite stick on the ice. When the fish hit, it shoots the lite stick up in the air like a rocket and you can see it from quite a distance. adds to the fun.
