Today I took my bass fishin bud Larry crappie fishing. He is getting much better at dock shooting too! <br /><br />We started on some bluffs and caught 3 crappie on 3 casts but later tried some docks. All together we found fish on 4 different docks and most fish caught were on bottom. We used the standard 1/32 and 1/16 jigs with BG&#39;s and something Larry had that looked like a small minnow. We caught about 40 crappie, 1 cat, 1 bluegill and chases some top feeding bass for a. while boating 4 lm and 1 sm bass. We had 15 keeper crappie between 11 and 12 inches. Water temp was 77 when we started at 7:30 and a out 79 when we stopped at 11:30. It got hot and we wanted a burger from HBSP restaurant.<br /><br />A great day to be on the water.
