Just returned from 3 days at Flathead Lake in Montana. Heard about all the great Lakers there. I can report that their idea of a good day on the water is considerable downscale from ours. Beautiful lake, clear water, few fishermen and fewer Lakers! Sometimes trolled for over an hour before finding one on the sonar. A two or three fish day is considered good ... didn't want to upset them with tales of the Gorge so just kept quiet and kept looking for fish.
Did manage to catch 2 in 3 days. Here's a picture of my niece with one of them.
I am grateful to live here in Utah where despite some complaining, the fishing is GOOD!
