Heading up to the Berry tomorrow. I haven't seen too many posts lately. We will be putting in at Soldier Creek. Any great spots there producing? We have downriggers and will be trolling Rapalas and possibly dodgers/squids. Has the main lake been better than Soldier Creek? Any advice is welcome.

I don't know whether the main lake has been producing any better than the Soldier Creek side since I usually stick near renegade and the narrows, but if you have downriggers the kokanee are doing pretty well at around 50-55 ft deep with a pink or purple squid behind a dodger in and near the narrows, Cutts seemed to be in the 35-45s and the bows were suspended in the top 10-15ft (lots of smaller bows) as of Monday when I was up there last. Drifting was producing fairly well in the right spots but for me at least the vertical jigging wasn't giving any success. If you're gonna use good ol PB then try the chartreuse corn flavor seemed to be working best. As usual with the berry if there aren't fish around try moving. I'll be up there tomorrow and Monday. I'll try and update anything I can. Good luck!
