Good old oregon fish and wildlife report has said the exact same thing for two months. Anybody have any REAL news....crappie or bluegill

I prefished and then fished a bass tournament there the last two weekends, almost entirely drop-shotting in anywhere from 15 to 45 ft of water and never touched a crappie from the up Powder to the cemetary. Didn't hear of anyone else in the tournament catching one either. Catfish were a different story however...
Fished it the last 2 weekends and not one crappie or bluegill.

I bet. Right now would be a good time to hit it for cats. Ron

We launched from Farewell bend last Thursday and fished down past steck park. Got some nice cats. Saw lots of crappie on the fishfinder but no takers. Water level is really low at farewell bend boat dock. Does anyone know what the water level is like closer to the dam? Trying to find a place to go next week.
