Launched from Harrison Bay area this morning for our 6th tournament of the season. Excellent temperatures and overcast skies had us hopeful that we'd all be catching fish. This proved to be true. I started out on the main channel throwing a frog with many blow-ups but no fish to show. I changed to a torpedo and it was on. I caught 7 fish in the first hour including my kicker 21" fish. I moved around but never could put anything else together. All they wanted was the torpedo. Once the wind picked up around 8:30, the bite seemed to die. I picked 3 more fish up on the torpedo towards the end of the tournament but nothing to help the cause. The other members reported catching their keepers on topwater, t-rig worm, and spinnerbait. I took first again today, but not by much. Pretty close between the top 3 today.

Top 3 (3 fish totals)
1. Corey Stansifer - 48.5"
2. Morgan Gibson - 45.5"
3. Justin Rongey - 43.25"

For anyone interested, we are having an open tournament next Sunday, August 25th.
