So it's my birthday on Sunday and the wife has given me an all day fishing pass so I don't want to waste it. I am getting a little burned out on the the normal spots (Provo, weber, pinnacles etc) so I'm looking to try somewhere new. Preferably within a couple hours. I don't have a tube or toon so any Stillwater would have to from the shore. I don't need your honey holes maybe just some new spots I haven't thought of. Pm's are much appreciated... And if anyone is heading out sunday let me know, company is always a bonus! [fishon]

go to sportsmans, buy the big book map i believe its called the Gazzateer, open the page to a general area your looking at, drive there, fish.

Pinnacles get a little crowded?[cool]

Who would have imagined[shocked].
Idaho and Wyoming are always nice and only half as many people from Utah fishing there as in state. Get up at 4 am and go hit the Snake or one of it's fine tribs. Don't forget the hoppers.

Ha maybe... [blush]

Why not hike the backcountry? Plenty of streams and lakes.

while the hotspotting post from earlier this summer was a poor idea, the crowds on that section of stream likely have more to do with an idiotic expose in one of the fly fishing magazines earlier this year.

The 1700 views on BFT certainly didn't help. Oh well live and learn.
