Taking the old man fishing/boating at strike this weekend, and he really wants to catch some cats. I haven't fished for cats in years. I would really appreciate any tips or areas to increase our chances. Last time i can remember finding any cats we were up the snake river arm just past crane falls, across from a dirt boat ramp on the south side of the res.... thanks and i look forward to any of your input.[fishin]

My only tip on strike about catfish is go to brownlee instead. Ron

It might, but it sounds like he wants to actually catch cats. He's not going to do that at strike. If you have any info on catching them there maybe you should help him out. Ron

i have caught cats at strike in fact my biggest cat came form strike 19.2 pounds that is a big channel cat no mater what body of water you are fishing in the us or even the famed red river i sent him a pm about where to fish and what to use i dont want to post to much on the open web with the black sands derby coming up on the 14th here is my 19.2 pound channel cat caught at strike last sept 15 and won biggest cat for the black sands derby last year
