Got out for a couple hours on Wednesday night. Ended up in Ware Branch throwing a crank bait and top water. Caught a couple of "almost" keeper large mouth on the bomber model A and a small mouth caught on top water with a Heddon Mini-torpedo prop bait. I don't think I have ever caught a smallmouth on a top water lure before and I thought I had a nice largemouth the way it hit and took off. Still only 17" so I still didn't have a keeper. Great night to be out on a mirror smooth lake.
