Pat picked me up at my house at 7:00 AM and we fished from Tyner Lane until 10:30 for crappie. Slow starting, but fast finishing. We landed 51 total and released them all. One skinny white bass tried to end its misery, but we threw him back also. emoBigSmile

We fished with various colors of Bobby Garland slab slayers and 2" shads and I fished a lot with a 1.5 inch Green Moon Panfish Assassins. It was very productive. Of course it had a chartreuse tail light. 1/16 and 1/24 oz jig heads were the order of the day. Pat did a great job of Captaining the ship and I did a good job of 1st mating the boat. I didn't even gig Pat a single time that I can remember. I know that he appreciated that. emoBigSmile

We did see Hippie Dave and I did gig him a lot. Just had to get that out of my system. emoUpSmile We saw Candi (cuonthelake) from afar as she was speeding down the river toward the dam area. She must be doing good. We never did hear from or see her again. We never went above CFP and all our fish came from the river and not any from the coves. Thanks for taking me today, Pat. I really need to rest for the remainder of the week. Although, if Bent Rod catches any more Walleyes, I will probably go over there Friday. emoBigSmile

The Good Lord willing, that is. I usually don't need permission from Wanda as she is out on Friday with our daughter, so I can slip over to middle Tennessee and be back home before she ever knows that I'm gone. emoUpSmile emoUpSmile

emoGeezer
