Bent Rod and I participated in CFF #9 bass tx today at the Nick. We actually caught a few little fish today. Getting better all the time. emoBig
Of course, the bass didn&#39;t bite the lures that we thought they would, but we managed to eke out a limit so that we were not totally embarassed.<br /><br />We caught 8 spotted bass, 4 keeper largemouth (5.53 lbs total) and 1 slick bass. We fished frogs, buzzbaits, flukes without any success. No bites on these lures. Worms were the only way that we could get a bite. We fished grass for 4 hours, and then went to the shade of the bridges for the rest of the tx. We had our limit by 9:18 and were able to cull one fish. Just couldn&#39;t get the big bite.<br /><br />We had a lot of fun getting a lot of bites on worms and failed to hook up several. There is always CFF #10. emoBig emoGeezer
