I called yuba park and talked to one of the rangers and he said the lake is filling up very fast! I asked him about the walleye situation and he told me that the biologists said that some walleyes remaind in the river . And that they might make a comeback gradually before they get stocked again. He also said that some of the big pike were still in there . He also said there were plenty of perch stocked along with the trout. Hopefully there should be some good fishing in january when they open yuba to fishing again! [

[#ff0000]Thanx for the report. It put a big [
] on my face! It sounds like a little catch and release is in order for awhile and bring on the snow to keep it full. [/#ff0000]

I happened to talked to the irrigation company managers that own the reservoir yesterday at a water summit. They said there should be enough water to fill the reservoir this spring.

Who was the managers you talked to? I was at the meeting also and the irrigation people I know and talked to said nothing but gloom so I would be curious to see who you was talking to?
My understanding is it will still be predicated from snow fall.
Wasn't that something where they mentioned that it would take ten years of normal snow fall to re-fill Bear River
