We junked fish our way right into eighth place. emoDance Just repeat what I did the last three times and that is what Derek and I did today. The only difference for us today was nothing on top, it seemed for us the top water bite had been pushed down with the cool front that came in. We caught our bass on big 10 inch worms, the shakey and a swim bait. I believe all but two of our fish came off grass edges in the 8 to 10 foot range. Those two deeper bass were on rock drops in water where one was around 15 foot and the other around 20 foot. We did not do really all that well. We only boated 14 bass today with nine keepers. We had two over four, one over three and two more solid two pounders to give us 16.50 lbs. Knowing how tough the lake was fishing we were thinking we would get some good points for sure, but we were not too sure about a check. They paid nine places so we just snuck in on the bottom in front of Carter Day and Ron Willerson, and right behind Lance Nunley and Thomas Wilson. emoThumbsup First Place Winners had one about ten pounds that gave them the win and big bass. emoWorthy I will let Chris post that when he posts the results.<br /><br />We had a good time and even though it was slow the weather was cool and made the day nice. A little too much wind as far as I was concerned. There was one place that I have been consistently catching fish but when we went there it had two foot rolling waves coming in on it and we tried but had to bail on that spot.<br /><br />Congrats to all who caught fish today and the guys that won. Thanks goes out to Derek for taking his boat and being my guide. He did well today, I got in some good net practice. emoBig Jmax
