I am addicted to the Uinta lakes, everyone unique, a surprise. Thursday went for the day, fished with a buddy, hit 3 lakes, caught fish at all 3, tigers at one. Caught one nice brookie, 14 inches measured, which is not much, but for these lakes, that is nice, and this male was in full color and fat. I was just nice to be out. Covered 8 miles for the day. Buddy also bagged a dusty grouse as well.
Also saw weird Jetstream?

Kinda have my own idea where the Brookie came from. There are some in them there hills.
I understand your addiction to the Uinta's. Don't get more beautiful then gods country.
I don't go as often as it has become so popular. Too many cars and people, but will take a chance every now and then. Thanks for the pictures.

The clues are there, I'm sure you know. Caught on a jig, of course. Cheated. Jigs are cheating. Wasn't a full cheat, didn't have it worm tipped. Flies are good too, if you have them weighted, about 1 1/2 long, and fish sinking line or be really good at fly fishing.

I never thought of jigs or bait or even lures as cheating, just different choices. You did what you had to do, nothing wrong there.
Very nice job.
