started this pond last year.this year we got a 6 inch pump ..and pumped the water out to go deeper,right now its about 2 acres.in the end it will be 10 acres about 35 ft deep,planning on stocking it with trout and bass

That looks like a nice pond. Your aquaculture could be completed if you also through in a few Plecostomus and some carp. They help keep a good balance of nature. Carp will eat the extra fish poo while keeping the amonium nitrates down and the plecostomus will keep the algae at a healthy level and stay on top of any invasive plants that may want to grow in your pond.[cool]
