Decided to jump in this tournament for some fun with my buddy Jacob. He got in touch with me on Monday and asked what I was doing this weekend and I said fishing all weekend come on down to Tennessee. We covered a lot of water mainly fishing grass. I bet we fished 20 different areas because I was preparing for the heartland anglers tournament next weekend out of Dayton as well. We discovered there was so much more unproductive water than good water. Our fish came on topwater, flipping, and frog. We fished grass all day. Caught a 3.25 lb spot first stop and it was 
to see it culled knowing they paid big spot. Our best 3 ended up being 2 around 5 lb and a 4 lb for 14 lbs even total. The fishing seemed steady throughout the day with the best bites around 11-1 oclock. It was a fun tournament with some good people. Does anyone know the results of the other tournament out of HBSP? There seemed to be 30 boats or so in it.
