We got on the water around 7:30 and headed to some grass that I knew had a few fish in it. We fished this pocket for a while with only 3 smallish fish to show for it. There were tons of fish working shad or something in and on the outside of the grass, but only had a few blow ups. We through frogs, spooks, poprs, flukes, and about everything we had at them, but they just wouldn't touch anything. Maybe in a few weeks these fish will bite better.
Made a move to another grass bed and caught 1 more on a worm before quitting on the bass. The plan was to catch some crappie for dinner, but of course I had taken my crappie box out of the boat. I managed to scramble around and find a few heads and some PA to try.
First stop for crappie was a blow down that quickly yielded 1 keeper until we figured a tree isn't the best place to fish with only 2 jigs. Moved to a deeper offshore spot and caught one on every cast, but only a few were big enough to eat. We fished one more dock for a little while and caught a few more fish. I think someone had already fished this dock, every fish we caught was way under it in tight spots. After fishing that dock the wind got up and we hit the road.

Ended with 10 to eat and a ton of shorts
Water temp was 73-76 when I looked at it.
Sorry no pics.
