Today my friend Derrell and I put in at HBSP about 8:30 am and fished until 2:30. It started out pretty well on the first couple docks and the fish were active but that changed soon. We managed to catch 25 crappie with 8 being keepers also caught 3 catfish and 1 10 # buffalo. We used 1/32 oz jigs in shad colors with a taillight. Most fish were caught deep and all fish were caught under or near docks. If you want a mess in the bottom of your boat just catch a buffalo but those things are real fighters. <br /><br />Water temp was 75 this morning. A beautiful day to be on the water. We ran into Buzz and his wife at HBSP boat dock. Always good to see them.
