My friend got off work at 2 so we headed down after 2 and fished till 7 or when the sun went behind Brown's Bench.
I landed a 12" walleye on a black wooly worm and my friend picked up 1 15" trout on a dark perch imitation and had another come loose as it danced on top of the water, then just before we went in another trout 13" on a black tailed spinner.

The highlight of the day though was trying to get the boat off the trailer. It's low at Grey's landing so you do need to back in a ways, but i couldn't get the boat to shake loose. Then I noticed that the boat and trailer seemed to be moving to the side, like it was floating. Yup you need to first take the rear strap off the boat[:p] After that was figured out all went well[Smile][Wink][fishin]

With my dad it's the plug. He has been notorious for forgetting to put it in. I dove in the compartment with a carrot the one time to cram in the hole. Other times mad dash to get back on trailer. He has always be a fraidy puss to get the boat up on plane and let in drain out that way.
