Hit Hyrum for about an hour or so yesterday afternoon. Ended up catching about 20 bass nothing big but they are fat and healthy they are definitely getting ready for the winter. I even managed to pick up a little rainbow. The highlight of the day was watching the resident Osprey pick up a snack right in front of me. [inline tmp_20131005_144547-691929664.jpg]

Nice, thanks for sharing your report and pics. What is the largest LM bass you have caught there?

and that's pounds not inches, eh? You just shore-footing it?
that's what she said, right?
Need to get my boy to learn me up where their "fort" is. Sound like some good Dadding around. . .
Are they allowng launches with the shutdown?
Took my son over yesterday and did pretty good. Not as many bass but bigger fish for sure. Gotta love the fall.[inline 2013-10-06_16.17.18.png]

Nice to see some decent sized fish in there.

There were still boats out so seems like launching is still permitted for now.

Yes they do. My oldest is turning 13 here in a couple weeks. Now I am feeling old.[crazy]

I hear that, Fisher just turned 3 a few days before that. Time flies. I'd say he makes me feel old but my 19 year old daughter has taken care of that job already. I can't wait to get him out on the ice.
