Launched at Renegade at 7:30, at one point driving in it was 19 degrees at launch was 21 degrees brrrr. A little fog on the lake but not much. Didn't keep track of how many we caught but it was probably close to 50 all slot Cutts and 1 fat Rainbow. Used white tube and white maribou jigs tipped with a worm. Also did very good on a worm under a bobber about 3 ft down. Would have a fish on almost immediately when the bobber hit the water.

Thanks for posting, I'm headed to the berry in the morning. I guess I'll be swapping the braid out from mono with temps getting that low.
Good on ya!!![cool]

Did the fish keep biting throughout the day? Afternoon?

They were biting the whole time we were there. We left at 11:00AM.
We marked more fish in deeper rather than shallow water. We started out close to shore but moved out to 35 to 45 feet deep. BUT we did catch a lot on top with the bobber rig. I have a two pole permit and had fish on both poles at the same time.
While using tube jigs they just barely tap it, no wham bam hits just little taps.

nice info. thanks. are the docks still in the water at Renegade? I'm heading up Fri. If we get any good ones, I'll post the pics. We got some nice rainbows 2 weeks ago south of the ladders.

Hey I saw you guys launch yesterday, I was gearing up at when you pulled up. Glad to hear you did well as well. Funny how all the fish are in the slot. I got no love from the rainbows though. Caught a bunch on white flies. Pretty cold before sunrise. Nice boat you got.
