Went out three hours before dark and had a pretty good time. Wasted the first hour drowning a frog and nothing. Moved out on the edges and found a few. Ended up boating 12 with seven that would have kept. Nothing huge but had a couple good ones, one was 4 lbs 5 ozes and the other was 3 lbs 9 ozes. The other five keepers we did not weigh but appeared to be in the low two pound class. Caught them mostly on top water working right on the edge of the grass near deeper water. Lots of shad everywhere we went. Where we fished it would appear the cold snap is pushing bass out to the edges. Water temp has fallen to 67 as of yesterday evening.<br /><br />Had a good time for a short time. It was also good to see my old friend. emoAngel Jmax
