Was a dismal day, still lots of fun, went out with by best bud Josh again, we were targeting perch but all we seemed too find was those 6-7" er's, but I did manage too catch this 3.4 lbs stud of a small mouth on 6 lb line, it was an awesome battle, got him on a drop shot rig with perch cut bait.... the weather was fantastic... bright and sunny hardly no wind... was great, [fishon]

if noone else will say it i will nice fish. 3lb smallies dont suck especially at strike late october when they arent easy to catch.ive been hitting brownlee for 2 months and its been great but finally cant justify the gas$$$ to go there again to only catch 1/3 of what we been catching.also not trying to jack your post by showing you my fish caught last weekend

I'll say, nice fish fellas. I was at Cj on Saturday, it was slower than its been and the fish are going deeper. Got a 4 & a 3.5 with a total of 13.25, not enough for a check. Lots of trout and perch. Winner with BBB had over 16 lbs with 4 fish, all smallies biggest 6.25. Spent alot of time at Milner this fall with lots of 3 with several close to 4. Snow bowl is this weekend.
