Back in August I posted I was getting a new camper. Well I have stayed in it 19 nights now and it is a very nice camper. I used it on my elk hunt and my deer hunt. I wanted a camper because I pull my trailer almost ever time I go anywhere. I either have my boat on the trailer or my ATV.
Here is a picture right after I picked it up.

I had to take the jacks off first thing. I just knew I was going to hit something with them. I haven't changed much yet. I didn't order it with a heater since they just suck up the battery and then you don't have heat or lights. So I added a Mr buddy heater. That works great but the 2.5 gal tanks that this camper has doesn't last too long with the buddy. I can get three nights and evenings with a 2.5 and I carried a 5 gal back up but never ran out between fill ups.

The slide in camper for my wife and I is working out great. It would be very tight quarters for a couple guys in winter but in summer it will be fine for fishing trips. Overall I am very happy with it. These campers are one heck of a lot better than sleeping in a camper shell on hunting and fishing trips for the last 8 years. Ron

Nice setup Ron. Did you have to add anything to hook up to your buddy? I tried with a five gallon tank in my ice shack and thought the buddy was going to blow up. It had little bits of flame coming out of all kinds of cracks. To much pressure I guess with a big tank.

The buddy heater need a special hose from the company just for the buddy. If you don't then the oil's in the hose will contaminate the heater and cause it to not work. My first one had this oil in it and it wouldn't work. I took it apart to clean it and never got it together right. This is the hose a guy needs for these heaters.

I hook mine up to both 2.5 gal and the 5 gal and it works perfect. If yours is spitting flames out of cracks it is defective and you should not use it. Ron

That is a righteous set up Ron. I have always liked this idea for short trips. This or a 4X4 Van. As you said, close quarters. You need to think about a small generator and bag that gas heater. [Wink]
You can also put your pontoon on the roof and forgo the trailer. Very nice.

That would be way too high for this old man[Wink] Ron

Nice unit!

My bro just recently got himself a very similar one. After years of tenting it on elk hunting trips, this thing is like a Four Seasosns! They are super nice, no doubt about it. And you can just about get them anywhere.

Congrats!
