Crappie fished from almost 11:00 am until 1:00 pm today. A very short trip that started off well the first hour of fishing. The bite tailed off around noon but we caught 22 crappie total - 1 yellow bass. Fish were caught on both minnows and jigs. We used 3 rods. The jigs caught them in about 12 feet and the minnows close to 20 feet. We&#39;re waiting on an order of jigs and jig heads as we don&#39;t have much to work with right now. I&#39;m almost positive we saw DK and Dr. Phil heading in to the marina. Deb said someone is waving and she waved back and then I turned around and picked up on the G3 logo. I said that might be DK but I didn&#39;t think he fished on Sunday much so I wasn&#39;t sure ? Of course now I read a report when I get in and realize that it probably was. As we were about ready to go in about 1:15 I noticed a boat approaching. I could tell from a distance that it was Kingfish ( Bob ) but I had never met him before. He pulled up and said he thought he recognized us and we chatted with him and his fishin&#39; buddy Archie. We had just talked about running into each other on the crappie.com site - small world. It was our pleasure meeting you Bob. Deb and I really like that boat...nice ! We couldn&#39;t fish long today but we might go back after them tomorrow. No pics - I forgot to put the memory card in the camera. emoDoh <br /><br />Theft update: I&#39;ve since found out that equipment was also stolen. Deb&#39;s Pflueger Trion GX-7 reel and a set of scales. I thought my tackle box was ok at first but they picked thru it and got some more spinnerbaits...buzzbaits.. football jigs, etc.
