The crack staff at the Idaho Statesman scooped JB Spilker on Thursday and announced that "Lake Cascade" has rebounded and is ready for anglers.....another secret gem revealed to the masses.
It is an interesting article - the population of pikeminnows and suckers is much higher than I expected. According to their pie chart, bass apparently don't even register as a measurable population which can't be correct.
"Allen and Janssen hope anglers will start paying more attention to Cascade and take advantage of those big fish and resurging perch population"
“I think it’s time to come back and put some time into Cascade because we’re definitely not seeing the fishermen,” Allen said.
I hope this article spurs interest in Cascade Reservoir because it is big enough to support a whole lot more fisherpersons and the town would benefit significantly.
