November 6, 2013 - Ford Fishing Report – Over the past week, I had the pleasure of fishing with several clients all in pursuit of Smallmouth. The guys stated they had a blast and stated they’d be back again. We focused on main lake points/rounds and the two thirds of main lake pockets which consisted of transition areas of chunk rock to gravel in 15 to 25 FOW. We used T-Rigged D-Bombs from Missile Baits, SPRO Little John DD’s, a Spot Remover with a grub or baby D-Bomb and a ½ ounce Tightline Football head jig (Green Pumpkin/Orange) with a twin turbo tail trailer from Missile Baits. Water temperatures ranged from 63 to 66 degrees. Fall top water Smallmouth on Tim’s Ford has started but is not like years past yet. The jig bite and crankbait bite will continue to improve as the drawdown continues. Currently the lake is at 882.23 and the TVA is dumping 4-6 inches of water per day. Now is the time to make your reservations for some exciting late fall and winter fishing on Guntersville and Tim’s Ford! We have days available throughout the fall with full time Professional USCG Licensed/Insured guides. As always, we supply all fishing gear including Duckett Rods, LEW’s Reels, lures, and drinking water at no additional cost you, Military Discount and the dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in†

More photos can be found on my website www.midsouthbassguide.com
