Another beautiful day on the river! No wind early and good water flow got me out of bed and into the boat for the first time in forever. Yesterday I changed the lower unit lube (no water!!) to make sure the motor is winterized and she ran great today. Went out to my favorite spot and hammered nice blue cats for about 2 hours. After about 11 AM the bite shut down. I didn't check the flow, but it was supposed to go to 0 cfs in the late morning, so I came back home. I guess I got about a dozen or so fish, with the 3 biggest all at 14 pounds, a good size to have fun with on the 6 pound test line. Again, the fish were right on the break of the drop-off, and skipjack was today's bait.<br /><br />Saw my first deer in our subdivision, and darned if it wasn't a nice little 3 or 4 point buck! emoBig <br /><br />
