Went fishing by Shelly early last week and had a decent time. Only caught 5 smaller fish (10-12 inchers) during a BWO hatch but had fun. On the down side on one of the casts the tip on my Redington CPS rod snapped! Was able to put the tip guide onto what was left to get through the day, but it was busted. Took it in to Jimmy's Flyshop the next day and they were very happy to send the rod into Reddington for me. Said there was no shipping/repair fee until it got back. Well today I got a call from them saying it was in. Went in to pick it up and and apparently it was beyond repair. They sent me their new Vapen fly rod as a replacement! Only cost me the $30 for shipping/processing. Have no idea how it fishes yet but the reviews I've found have me trying to figure out when I'll get out to try it! Jimmy's and Redington were fast and friendly getting me back on the river.

I've always had a good experience with Redington. I've had a few break on me over the 15 years I've been using them, and they're always very quick to replace them for me. It's always nice to get the new updated model too [Smile]
