We went up again today. Lots of trucks in the lot but did not have to any boats around us. We had a slower day today but was able to boat 42. The bite was really lite. My 7 yr old was the hot hand as he landed 11 him self. White tube jigs tipped with minnow or worm and a slow retrieve.

Thanks for posting your report, did you get any slot busters or Bows? That might be your last chance to fish the Berry depending on how much snow this next storm drops up there.

I am so hoping I get one more shot!.

Oh, I'm sure you can get up there and fish but launching a boat would be another matter because of the slick surface of the ramp. The Berry ramp is a steep one after a snow, unless you got chains.[

OMG! I know! I tried to launch a boat during the summer and that is the steepest ramp I have used (Ririe is second) Problem is, I had a walking cast and an automatic transmission....fun stuff right there.
As for now, I would launch at Bryants or CCE or even Ladders...just pontoons.

I bet fishing from your pontoon, close to shore would be awesome right now. Those big cutts are likely cruising the shoreline looking for minnows, so I'm sure you would do good up there after the storm passes.

How much snow is up there?

Sorry, I can't help you, try repling to the member that posted this thread, DeadI, instead of me.

When we were up there on the 30th there was maybe 6-8 inches on some slopes. The road to the marina was pretty much snow free. However if this storm that just went through dumped up there as much as it slammed me here in the south end of utah valley then there is a lot more now.

I was up there yesterday and we were getting hammered by the aforementioned storm. we left at 130 so that I could get to work in time and it had snowed probably 6-8 inches on us while we were there. All of the roads were covered in snow. snow depth seemed to range from 6-16'' due to wind etc. hope that helps. Good luck out there!
