meh.....moves more like a slow snake. I like lots of tail kick to really work that twitch and pause action for muskie. I'm sure you could catch one on it though, they'd hit a belt buckle on some days.

If ever there was a realist looking lure....This is it! I for one know I will buy a couple to add to my Northern baits.
We all know that pike get fat eating other pike so it something that is going to be on the menu.
I have tried other pike looking lures with some success, but none of them swims like this bad boy does!
Oh it's a long time until spring! Nothing to do now but to build a wish list of baits and hope Santa Claus is good to me.
Are you going to spend the winter tying flies flygoddess?

I am! In particular, one called "The Game Changer". I am thinking the right color, I could maybe match this lure.

WOW! I liked them until I saw the price. I don't care how many northerns it might catch. If I paid $170 for a lure I certainly wouldn't fish with it. This guys lures are works of art, not fishing lures. I moan for weeks if I pay $27 for a Sebile. I can buy 26 Rapalas for that much money!!!

I was waiting for someone to see that! I'd own some scuba gear if I fished with those lures, cause a snag wouldn't be pretty! I think a lot of the added detail is to fool the consumer, not the fish.

Well they are works of art and they probably will catch fish. However if I had one at that cost it would rest on my mantle as the most expensive fishing art I have.
If you want to buy one I will send it to China with a friend of mine who does a lot of business over there and we probably can get some made up for under $5.00 each. We'd probably have to order a gross of them to get the low ball price.
The Chinese ones might not catch the eye of the art critic, but if you could replicate that awesome swimming action you might have a fish catching bait.
If you've got that kind of money let me know and we'll get the discount ones from the land of the counterfeit tackle......Oh wait a minute it's not counterfeit any more, everything is made in China now. American tackle companies used to have their tackle made in Japan where it was cheaper, now the Japanese tackle companies make their tackle in China and if American wages get any lower the Chinese will have their tackle made it the USA.
I've got some Alan Pope (?) hand made trout swim baits I bought to fish Lake Mojave years ago for trophy stripers and compared with those Lucky lures they look like they were carved and painted by an 8 year old. They catch fish but I don't fish them very often because they cost so much. If I did fish with them it would only be with 80 pound braid, 180 pound fluro leader and a stump puller rod and a Penn senator 12/0 reel. No chance of leaving one of those lures on the bottom!

Get an ABT Banshee instead! Better swimming action, and you can get a 6"er for $12. Plus, they do catch muskies [:p] Fred K.
