Does anyone now if the road into the uintas is still open and can i get there to ice fish? Wanted to head up tomorrow.

I read on the Utah Avalanche Center that the road was closed a few weeks ago. Considering Guardsmans Pass is covered in enough snow to ski and snowmobile, I would bet that the highway is covered in snow, especially after this last storm.

I bet they closed the gate at Soapstone with this storm. Initially when they "close' it you still can drive up for recreation even if you it's difficult to get all the way through to Wyoming on it.
