Hey there guys,
My fellow anglers..... it is with a heavy heart that I must inform those who as yet don't know that Rockfishing in California is now closed. This includes all the species that were considered as by catch and listed accordingly.
South of Point Conception the closure is until March 1, 2004 and north of Point Conception Jan 1, 2004 out to 30 fathoms.
Stand by to see some real changes in the saltwater sportfishing scene in southern California not only now but next Spring.
We'll see if the other species fisheries are hit so hard that they become a target for closures also. This is not good.
