Went out for the first time Friday and my first time to chesterfield. Had a blast. Tons of action and some good weather for the most part. Hope the weather keeps cold and the ice keeps growin' my 6 yr daughter has an itchin for some perchin'.

No doubt the title of this thread is the result of that guy's post on the Idaho board, slamming folks from Utah, coming up to Chesterfield and keeping their fish?
Anyway, thanks for posting your report. How thick was the ice up there and were there a bunch of folks fishing there?

Ice was 7-8" and maybe 20 or so others. I'm sure it's thicker now it was plenty cold there.

Almost - but Ute are SOFT! Bwaha.

How about Utahrd. I still don't approve of the term and it's usage.

And if they stole them Iderhoe fishes and paid for a license, they paid well for them fisheses!

Trout stink, bring on the panfish!
I'll see if I can figure out how to post some. As for the fish my buddy and I each kept one of the small ones. Just the fun times of being out on the ice is worth the fees, the fish to eat is just a bonus.
