I got a message last night from Jimbo who had a cancelation and wanted to get out and wet a hook this afternoon. Being on vacation right now I figured it would be a great way to spend the afternoon. We met up at a little after 1pm and headed out. The lake is up almost 2 feet since saturday and at almost two feet above full pool. I can not remember the lake being over full pull in December for the past few years. We found water from 54 to 56 degrees which is unreal for this late in the year. I managed one off a mud line fairly quick on a cb then we headed out in search of more fish. We tried a bunch of different places and baits until we settled on fishing docks in the backs of creeks and pockets with bait in them. We fished for 4 hrs and had 5 fish with this one being the best coming out of 18FOW off the side of a dock. A shaky head was the key bait for us today.
