Hit Mantua on Christmas Eve and had a good time getting into the green monsters finally. We went last week as well but only caught trout. Biggest perch was caught on a Tube Dude special tipped with a spike!

Thanks for the report and pic. How long are those gills and perch?

The perch was 9" and the gills all between 6-8", nothing enormous but a big improvement from last year on the perch front at least. We threw back a bunch of both that were much smaller but the batch we brought home were sure tasty.

Going there in the morning, any ice concerns? Looks like a lot of slush in you pic.

Sorry I missed this. ice is great, probably 10" thick hit it again today as well for a couple hours early. Mostly bluegill, one bass and a couple rainbows.
