My friend went and ice fished it this week. He called and told me most of the lake is still open water, only over by the dam in the shade is there ice and very little of it. He said he walked around by the dam and had to hike around the pines to get to the small section of ice that was 4" thick. Good news is once he drilled a hole (15' of water) and dropped his line it was "just like last year" meaning non stop. I posted a YouTube video with us up there last year, I know it's a lame video but at least you can see just how fast the action is up there. They're small little planters but still fun to catch when you don't have time to take a trip to Strawberry or somewhere else. I'll keep you posted on Tibble Fork, I usually take the family there a few times each year.
