Anytime I have fished PV I have always just fished of Cemetary Point. Last year I fished off the south side of the point and we killed them. That's where I woudl go. Thinking about heading there on Monday

Access from Port Ramp will be fine. Drive slow as its very icy at that access. No slush on ice have ice cleats frozen slush is very slick.

Where we fished clear ice was maybe 4" with 4" of cloudy ice on top. We wrangled up 1/2 dozen Perch 7-8" and 20 plus Crappie largest was 12" all others were 6-8". Crappie suspending and coming up off bottom to roughly 3' off bottom. Had to entice the bite by jigging ever so slightly. Bite was very soft...others around us went off the ice with nothing as they told us we were the only ones they saw catching fish. Fished 30FOW with Nuclear Ants tipped with Waxie or colored Maggots. Again bite was very, very light...setting pole down you'd never see the bite...action bite indicators and flashers were the ticket for us. Good Luck.

thank you K2.
sounds like popping a few holes around the docks would be a waste of time then. I have done good off the point across from the docks last year I believe that is the area you are talking about.

We fished the docks at the Port ramp with no luck at all on Monday but we got there late, after 11am, so the catching could have been better earlier. Fishing was much better off the south side of Cemetery point today but no crappie.
