Finally hit the Bar Saturday morning for a bit to see what the crappie were doing. Wasn't expecting much but I wasn't at work so I wasn't complaining. Pulled up at first place about 8:30 and once I got on my spot right it was almost every cast for about 15 minutes. Caught 10 keepers there and let a few more get off then it just shut down. Went to another spot that I saw back in the summer while bass fishing. Finished out my limit after 8 casts. My 12 yr old nephew called me because he saw my truck in the parking lot so I went in to pick him up. I thought we could catch a few more so I ran to another spot and went over a brushpile and the down image lit up like Christmas tree. Caught 2 keepers right away then nothing. I was thinking, "did I just pick up the black cat"? Jumped to 2 other spots and nothing. I threatened my nephew that I was taking him back in if our luck didn't change. Made another stop and we found them again. Caught 12 more keepers before the rain hit. Finished up with 29 keepers (11"-15&quot all on BG in bluegrass or electric chicken in 15-25 FOW over brushpiles. The Lord delivered a great day on the water.
