July of each year the City of Ririe sponsors Ririe days where they have numerous events in the area. This post is to gage interest by folks in participating in a kokanut Derby as part of Ririe days. If you have an interest please respond or PM me.

If you have suggestions regarding rules, entry fee, t-shirts, etc. let me know as well.

If someone out there would also like to see a bass tournament and would be willing to coordinate that PM me.

That would give me a reason to drive down there and put the downriggers on the boat try to catch them. That is one of the many things I want to try.

Well there are three possibilties so far. I suppose with some wider advertisement we can come up with enough folks to make this worthwhile. It would just be great to so what everybody is catching and using. I know have techniques I've settled into but of course I'm still getting schooled and every year has its' leaning curves.
