Hearing about ice fishjing makes me want to be out walking on the water. But my wife and I are on a LDS mission in Costa Rica. The weather here is tough. highs in the 70s and lows in the upper 60s. But I brought my fly and spin casting gear and heard about some cloud forest little rivers that run crystal clear and cold. I tried one out last Sat. I had a blast[fishin]. I caught 20 raainbows in about 2 hours. I'm going to try another rain forest river soon. I'm really hopeing to hit the big water while I'm here and catch a Sailfin. Sorry about the weather you are having. But it was really strange to be fly fishing in the jungle, palms, ferns and bannana trees around. But the rainbows were very colorful.
