I got a call from Polo around 3:00 pm this afternoon with an offer that I couldn't refuse. It was an invitation to go ice breaking in the creek. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to break ice with the bow of a boat? emoCrazy But he wanted to go really bad, so I couldn't very well leave him out there alone in the weather. emoCrazy emoCrazy

So, he took me drum fishing. I caught one of my pets to get the skunk off the boat and it nearly got dark before he quit fishing for drum and caught a trashy green fish. We threw it back. emoBig

Only had to dip the tip of my rod in the water a few times to get the ice out. Did you know that it is sort of difficult to tie a 1/24 oz jig on when you can't feel your hands? emoGoofy emoCrazy

Anyhow, Mrs Drumking called me to remind me to stop at the Bi-Lo on the way home and that was my escape plan. Polo gave up shortly after that call. We crunched ice all the way back to his dock.

Thanks for calling me to go with you today, Mark. Let's do this again some time. Like when it is 65 degrees. emoPoke No, you can call me anytime. I only live 8 minutes from you. I have warm clothes. emoBig emoGeezer
