The morning we went was very slow. There were 4 other groups out that morning and I only saw 3 fish come out in the 3 hours we were there. I wanted to go out farther, but my friend wasn't up for it. If I had a few hours, I'd either go to Strawberry or Yuba and chase monsters. Good luck.
We fished from 18-35 FOW. We tried waxies, meal and earth worms on various jigs. My friend even tried power bait. No bites.
I had to go down to UL to was the smell of skunk off me.

Fished SW of the island in 25 feet this last Monday and only managed 3 in about 3 hours. Everyone else I talked to in the area seemed to be struggling too. Caught all 3 on Maniac pink gizzy bugs.
I initially chose DC because I didn't want to drive an extra 45 minutes to Strawberry...I should have driven to Strawberry.
