Hi Guys, I recently bought the showdown troller and love it. But hated getting the performance pack wet everytime I went out. So I thought of this to keep it off the water and it works awesome, And cost me around $5 to make. I used 1inch pvc, 4 elbows, screws and washers. I bought the screws a little long so it would act like spikes when on the ice but bolts or smaller screws would work. I then test fitted everything and then glued. After that was done I flip the performance pack inside out to line it up and mark my holes. Then screwed it down. It is worth doing and took 10 minutes to make. Here are the pics.

[Smile][#0000FF]I have the regular showdown. I was not concerned so much with getting the cover wet, but wanted it higher up off the ice for easier viewing. So I made a tripod...from PVC, of course.

My first model worked fine but I upgraded it by adding a small wooden platform. See pics.

I did not permanently attach the legs so the tripod can be pulled apart and broken down for transport.

I'm thinking simpler and multi-purpose. As in one of those short CCola crates. Used "up" to store things in my sled, and then upside down to hold the flasher. I might even tack a small bait cutting board to the bottom of the crate.
