So if someone "fails" the 2 hr. practical test and doesn't catch a fish, they don't get a license? If that's right, what an idea!
Don't get me wrong, the whole land baron and no public water part sucks big time. Wouldn't want any part of it. But still.
I've often commented to myself, "if you can't catch a fish on the Green River (15,000 trout per mile below FG), you shouldn't even be allowed to have a license."

If you fail you get scheduled to retest, there were 8 of us in class, myself and 2 other guys were the only ones to pass this part. Granted the other 5 had never used a fly rod, I'm going to go with them next week to help them pass

Very cool. Interesing to know what is going on with recreation elsewhere in the world. I have come across quite a few people who I wish needed to "pass a test" to continue fishing, especially when they are in a spot I would like to fish []
Copy/paste the link in my sig to see what fish are like in Germany
and do it again to see some of our scenery.... also, I typically don't waste my time with a fish picture unless the fish is 20 or more inches in length, hence why not a lot of fish photos in my blog
