Rule R657-13-12)’ restrictions section starting on page 10 of the 2014 Guidebook, the very first bullet point specifically lists corn and hominy as unlawful to use or possess while you are fishing. Why do you suppose that is? Corn isn’t normally considered or labeled as a fish attractant but DWR thinks it needs to be specifically listed as unlawful. And before you tell me it will kill trout, it’s already been scientifically shown that it will NOT kill them. It seems odd that if WD-40 (also normally not considered or labeled as a fish attractant) is such a threat to the overall health of the fish population that it wouldn’t be specifically listed also.[/size][/#800000][/font]
