Went to otter creek on saturday and fished from 8 am to 2:30 pm. It was overcast and a little windy. The temps were warm, so i fished outside the shack. In our group we landed 8 fish. The biggest being 2 3/4 pounds. Not the size I was hoping for. I did bust my 10 pound test line off on one. In all it was a great trip. The next morning we headed to fishlake. What a mistake that was. The road was terrible. I had it in four wheel drive, and was still slipping and sliding all over. A friend of mine got stuck, and we didn't get to the lake until nine. It had snowed a foot of snow on the ice and still snowing. Fishing was slow. I would have moved around to find the fish, but it was snowing and blowing and I was alittle wet from earlier. I fished until 12:30 and decided to leave, due to the conditions. The roads were plowed, and halfway down off the mountain the storm broke. I almost thought may I should have stayed. I still caught a few perch and one chub. I still had a fun trip fishing with good friends from down south.
