Took my nephews to the pig for an afternoon attempt. Ice is getting very rotten from the edge out 25' then it has some good ice under. We seen lots of fish and got some nibbles but only caught one Koke. Be careful if you try it. Later J

Was that 25 inches from the edge or 25 feet? I didn't go up this weekend with all the wet weather and warm temps I figured it would be pretty hard getting on the ice there.

Unfortunately it's feet, I drilled a hole right off the plank and it was bad ice all the way through. You can see a different coloration where the ice gets good. I drilled another hole there and the top 5-6" of ice are bad but it has good roots under that. I don't know how much longer that edge ice will keep holding its getting spooky. With some cold temps maybe it will get repaired a little. Think I'll start thinking about getting my boat ready. Later J
